Finals update

Finals between Maratha warriors and Chargers started with MW captain Hrishikesh Bhadange winning the toss and deciding to bat first.

Maratha warriors got off to a shaky start, with their first wicket falling in the very first over as a result of a great delivery from Charger's strike baller Sohail. Swapnil and Kumar played well with a 28 run partnership for second wicket before two wickets fell in quick succession. Later on Vishvesh and Kumar came together to help MW with a 53 run partnership, the best of the innings with very good running between the wickets. MW made a final score of 98 all out in their 15 overs. Star of the innings was Kumar scoring 59, Swapnil and Vishvesh played very good supporting role. Sohail and Mahesh took 3 wickets each to wrap up the innings.Captain Bhargava chipped in with two wickets towards the end.

Chargers started their innings with Kaustubh taking a wicket on very first ball and then Manish taking second in the next over. They were struggling at 6/2 after two overs.Captain Bhargav and Sohail were playing really well to guide chargers towards the victory, but Sohail fell in 8th over. Bhargav played a captain’s knock of 53 with his classic style and wonderful stroke play, Krishna Chaitanya tried well to support him at the end,but wickets kept falling in succession and Chargers innings ended with 91/8 in 15 overs with some good bowling from MW. Manish took 3 wickets, with a great delivery to take skipper Bhargav's wicket which turned the match.Kaustubh and Dhananjay took one each and MW managed to get 3 run outs with some good work in the field.

We are thankful to umpires Kamal and Raghvendra (Raghu) for their wonderful job today. Raghvendra did umpiring on saturday back to back for two matches along with Ashwin Kumar, ISA is grateful to all the umpires, scorers and supporters throughout the series.

Match between Maratha Warriors ( MW) and Ball Kickers (BK)

Toss: Won by Maratha Warriors and elected to bat first

Maratha warriors managed to score 111 from 15 overs with the help of some good batting from captain Hrishikesh Bhadange.

Chasing 112 from 15 overs was newer going to be easy for Ball Kickers especially when kaustubh took wicket of Wasala in his first over. But, after that there was partnership of 19 runs between Ramakrishna and Hasith. This partnership was brought to end by Rohit Pillay in his first over ( Fourth over in this inning) . This match was slipping away from MW hands during the course of third wicket partnership of 43 runs between Rama Krishna and Sri. But, Manish striked back with the wicket of Sri in his second over ( and 10th over of this inning). There was 22 runs partnership between Rmakrishna and Rahul. Ramakrishna was runout due to excellent fielding by Maratha Warriors.Rama Krishna had played a captain's knock of 49 runs from 35 balls. When Rama krishna was out , Ball Kickers were at 91/4 in 10.5 overs. Ball Kickers required another 21 runs from 25 balls with 6 wickets in hand. But, due to some excellent balling by MW, this runs were not scored. In 12th over, Hrishikesh Mate took the wicket of Rahul and Ruchika was runout. It was followed by excellent over (by Manish) in which he bagged 3 wickets. Hrishikesh Mate ended Ball kickers inning in 14th over by taking last wicket.

We are thankful to Ashvin and Raghvendra for their wonderful job of umpiring in back to back matches today.
